I was born in Mexico City in 1959 and with my family of eight siblings moved to Regina, Sask. In 1976 I attended Catholic schools in Mexico, run by the de LaSalle Christian Brothers.
After moving to Saskatchewan, I attended LeBoldus Catholic High School for two years, and then began my university career. In 1983 I received a Diploma in Business Administration and graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor degree in Education.
I worked in Saskatchewan schools for five years and then moved to B.C. I began working in private schools for the first four years, and at St. Patrick Secondary School, Vancouver, for the last four years, before entering the Seminary of Christ the King in Mission last September. |

It was during my attendance in Catholic schools with the de LaSalle Christian Brothers that I began having a call as a teaching brother. After beginning university, my interests shifted toward business and computer information systems.
In my second year of teaching, I was hired at Notre Dame College in Wilcox, Sask., being offered to teach Religious Education, where I began feeling a renewal of my calling to be involved in my faith.
After moving to Vancouver, I began attending Holy Name Parish, and started getting involved in Catechism, RCIA, Knights of Columbus, Ushering, and Mass Lector.
In 1995 I was asked to lead the RCIA retreat for my parish, and felt a real >conversion,= which allowed me to finally say "Yes" to follow the Lord as one of His priests.
I taught for three more years at St. Patrick Secondary, Vancouver, while getting all ready to move to Mission and began studying Philosophy for two years in the Pre-theology program.
.
"Trust in the Lord" keeps appearing in much of my endeavors. I feel that this is simply a sign that the Lord is putting down for me as lights on an airport runway.
