Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul (HALIFAX) [S.C.(H.)]
Holy Family Hospital, Vancouver

The Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul are an apostolic congregation of vowed women religious called to be channels of God's Providence in the world through compassionate service in response to the needs of the times. The Sisters of Providence are the only religious congregation founded in Kingston, a Canadian city on the shore of Lake Ontario.
Since its humble beginning in the 1861, the congregation has grown as its pioneering work with the poor has taken Sisters across the country and beyond.

Today the Sisters of Providence serve with compassion and trust in Providence - not only in Canada but in Guatemala and Peru.
